Arts Education Program
DanceAction is dedicated to making an impact in the community. Our main purpose is to use our work to reflect social realities, foster a space for dialogue, and propel change.
DA works as a creative platform comprised of artists from multiple disciplines to produce performing arts works in collaboration and provide educational opportunities.
DA has facilitated dance workshops and open classes, locally and internationally. Many members of the company have developed their practice as teaching artists and early childhood educators.
We want to share these experiences and offer educational opportunities to enrich communities. We are launching an Arts Education Consulting Services Program to support schools and organizations interested in developing Arts Education Programming. Click below to learn more.

DanceAction’s Summer workshop for dancers, performers, or movers of any kind offers an integrated experience that includes dance training, improvisation, and composition. This comprehensive dance experience will enable participants to access a unique combination of dance techniques, discovering DanceAction’s “Pathways & Architecture” style, playful improvisation approaches, and dance-making tools and strategies that will ignite their creativity and broaden their physical ability and versatility as movement artists.
